Hyderabad: Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the State government is moving ahead with a clear long-term vision of “Telangana Rising 2047”, aiming to become a $3 trillion economy by 2047 under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

Inaugurating ET ACE-TECH Hyderabad 2026 at HITEX on Friday as the chief guest, the Minister said the recent Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, held at Bharat Future City, proved to be a major success, attracting investment commitments worth Rs5.75 lakh crore from domestic and global investors.

Describing the Regional Ring Road (RRR) as a major growth catalyst, he said the project would significantly transform the State’s development landscape. To strengthen connectivity, 39 radial roads are being constructed to link the Outer Ring Road with the RRR, enabling balanced urban and regional growth.

Komatireddy also said that Hyderabad has emerged as a preferred investment destination, particularly in competitive sectors such as IT, pharma, artificial intelligence and life sciences. He noted that the city’s real estate sector is witnessing unprecedented growth, citing a recent land transaction where prices touched Rs174 crore per acre.

Pointing to the rapidly changing skyline, he said high-rise developments have become a defining feature of the city and the government is working towards providing affordable housing for middle-class and upper middle-class families, ensuring access to quality urban living.

Stressing inclusive development, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said equal focus is being placed on urban and rural growth, industrial expansion and employment generation. The Minister also emphasised the importance of developing a pollution-free and sustainable city, stating that the discussions and suggestions emerging from ACE-TECH would be taken up at the Cabinet level.

During the event, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy also participated in a panel discussion led by ET ACE-TECH founder and chairman Sumit Gandhi, answering questions raised by leading builders, architects and industry representatives from across the country. He elaborated on government initiatives and policy support for the construction and infrastructure sectors, drawing an enthusiastic response from participants.

Later, the Minister inaugurated various exhibition stalls and interacted with exhibitors, architects and builders, reviewing new technologies, designs and sustainable construction practices showcased at the event.
